ERIS Long-term Observer December 2008

ERIS will be running a three day Long-Term Observer training course between 10 and 12 December 2008.

The three day training course is to be held in London and will cover a wide range of topics covering the role of Long-term Election Observers (LTOs) in their field of work. The course will focus on observation missions conducted by OSCE/ODIHR but will also touch on the work of EU missions.

The course will be designed for beginner long-term observers, that is to say, people with observation experience (as a short-term observer) but no experience in longer term missions.

Participation in this course will not guarantee any candidate selection for future election observation missions run by ERIS, but will provide the necessary skills to support future applications. Please note  that only UK nationals are eligible for selection or nomination by ERIS to missions and that although the course is open to all nationalities, its recognition by national focal points and acceptability to other organisations may vary.

The 2008 course prices are £995 for corporate customers and £695 for individuals.

To apply please complete the following information form, and return, along with a copy of your CV, to erisuk@eris.org.uk

Applications made by phone will not be considered.

Applications will be dealt with in the order that they are received.
